Router Module Accessory Program

The ROUTER MODULE is used to automatically generate a list of all routes for a given trackplan. The track plan may consist of one or more interlockings. (e.g., multiple interlockings for a commuter rail line).

The program furnishes a format list. Customized list formats can be installed by Vital Sim, or can be created by the user. These lists are:

1. All Possible Routes
2. All Switches in Each Route
3. All Switches With Their Normal and Reverse Positions For Each Route
4. All Parallel Routes
5. All “Locked” Switches in Each Route That Could Permit A Conflicting Route
6. Sectional Clearing/Fleeting Options (future development)

Also the Router Module permits the user to print pictorials of each route, permitting visual review and analysis prior to and during cutovers.

For some larger interlockings "over and back" routes may exist and these may be optionally highlighted/disabled for testing.

The Router Module is a pre-requisite for the Lamp-Out test Module and the Automatic Test Module.
